As part of activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of protection and rescue services in the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, new equipment and vehicles intended for the Trebević Mountain Rescue Service and Civil Protection units were delivered and presented.

In the procurement and equipping process, KM Trade participated as a supplier of specialized equipment, providing support to institutions that work daily to ensure the safety of citizens.

During the event, new quad vehicles that will be used by the Trebević Mountain Rescue Service were presented. Since the Municipality of Stari Grad has one of the largest territories among the city municipalities of Sarajevo, a significant part of this area consists of mountainous and forest regions that are often difficult to access with standard vehicles.

Due to these challenging terrain conditions, the need arose for vehicles that allow faster and more efficient access to hard-to-reach locations during rescue operations and searches for missing persons.

In addition to the vehicles, other Civil Protection units were also equipped, including members of JKP OSG who have been designated as a Civil Protection service. This has further strengthened the operational capacities for responding to crisis situations.

During the presentation of the equipment, it was emphasized that modernizing the protection and rescue system represents an important step in improving public safety. Modern equipment, off-road vehicles, and logistical support enable services to respond more quickly in the event of accidents, natural disasters, or other emergency situations.
